Angela on Set of "Meet the Browns"

*Thanks to LadyGlen for providing these pictures to the BassettHounds. She visited the "Meet the Browns" set in Chicago looking to hear from Jennifer Hudson until a member of the crew told her, "Shes not here. Thats just a rumor." Instead Lady Glen got to eat lunch with the crew and see Angela Bassett and Irma P. Hall who were "very friendly and sweet." Heres what Glen said about our Angela:

Angela was very nice. She was very professional...sort of in a zone...serious. After she filmed her scenes, she relaxed, waved to us all and let us snap a few pictures. She jumped in a white van and pulled off during the lunch break.

That sounds like Angie alright. No-nonsense when shes working and in character, but when the cameras are off shes her laid back self!! Thanks again to Glen for the exclusive. :)

OMG!!!! Have I have mentioned how much I love this woman. She looks like she's 21. When is she ever going to age???

I am so excited for this movie. The cast seems like it is gonna be great and I can't wait.

Yeah tell me about it. Angela looks too good. It might be hard to believe shes a mother of 3 in this movie!!! ;)

If Tyler Perry keeps up his streak, this'll be a classic Angie B film.

Have y'all the rumor about her being cast in "Doubt"? I REALLY hope it is true. She'd be brilliant and it could (finally) bring home the Oscar.

I've read alot about fans of "Doubt" wanting Angela to play Mrs. Muller but nothing about them actually casting her. This is great news! They'd HAVE to give Ang her Oscar in this role playing alongside Meryl Streep. I'm definitely looking into Coco, thanks!

No problem! I haven't heard anything definite, but they need a powerhouse to play alongside Meryl and Seymour and I've heard Angie's name bandied about more than anyone else's.
